93 zj question
So every time I am driving and hit the brakes to slow down for a light or what not my jeep shuts off.... it fires right back up but I cannot figure out why it does this someone told me that it was the tranny kick down cable?? The cable is snapped but is this the cause for it shutting off??? Any thoughts or comments would be much appreciated

Yes, stuff will be ruined. You may have a bad IAC motor. Does it stall when you come to a stop, or just when you step on the brake?

It may be the torque converter clutch not unlocking on slowdown. This could be caused by the throttle cable not working.
