4wheel drive/Transmission/diff
Hi
I have a GC 97 4.0 Laredo.
For some weeks now I have experience problems when selecting Full Time 4x4. Sometimes it doesn't get into full time at all and other times I have problems getting back into normal drive.
However mostly I get illumination of the two forward wheels (see picture). No light in the two real wheels which I've had earlier. Furthermore the illumination of the two forward wheels varies in intensity while driving.
With Full time selected and illumination of the forward wheels I have also experienced problems with spinning of the rear wheels individually (forward wheels not turning) when backing out and up our slippery (icy) sloped driveway.
Could this be a fluid quantity issue?
Thank you for your help.

And another question if it is required to change or add fluid:
Not wanting to break the bolts I've considered using the method in this video for changing/adding fluid.
Any experiece with this?
