Default 4 wheel all time?

Ok my question is what would cause the front axle to not engage when the rear wheels spin. It works in 4 wheel low but not 4 wheel all time it has the 247 t case and the Quadra trac 2 system. Linkage maybe has been my theory?

Power will go to the wheel with the least resistance, even in 4wd. That is why people install lockers in their diffs.

I thought I once read that quadrant track ii uses the ABS and brakes to slow or stop spinning tires to cause power transfer to the opposite wheel and or axle. I could be mistaken though.

will the select trac transfer case work with the the v8 trans setup. or is the bolt pattern completely different cause the more i read about quadra trac 2 the more i dislike how they made it.

Yes, but find one from the same year because the input spline count changed at some point, you also have to check the input shaft length.

Wouldn't this be a problem with the transfer case? It's my understanding the transfer case transfers torque between the front and rear axles and the verilock differentials transfer torque between left and right wheels on each axle.
