2nd Gear is gone

2nd Gear is gone
I have an 02 Grand Cherokee with 265,000 kms and 2nd gear just went on it. I pulled the pan and the 2nd gear band was in pieces.
I need the truck for another 6 months before I can get anything. Right now the truck starts moving and at 3500 rpm the truck will shift into 3rd I was wondering if there is a way to manually shift from 1st to 3rd, or any mod I can make to help the situation.
