Hey everyone! New member here and looking for some answers.

So I bought an `18 JGC with 34k miles last June. Its the limited trim, with the v6. Everything was great, it was a former lease vehicle with good records and a clean inspection. After putting about 1000 miles on it the first month, I noticed a coolant smell and found coolant leaking from the top pulley on the water pump. Took it into the local dealership and they replaced(I assume the water pump) under warranty. about 500 miles later, it began leaking again, same location. Took it back in, and a couple days later, received it back with another new water pump. Now it currently just ticked over 40k, and I noticed the familiar smell of coolant, and found the water pump leaking again. This is going to be the 3rd time having the water pump replaced by the dealership under warranty. Other than the coolant leak, its been awesome and I love everything about my jeep.

This leads me to ask a couple questions.

1. Is this a common failure point? Most complaints I saw before purchasing were related to the electronics and the oil filter housing

2. If its a common issue, is there a remedy to fixing it (such as an aftermarket water pump or gaskets)

3. Is it possible the head gasket is failing, and causing pressure to blow out the gaskets in the water pump repeatedly?

I hate the possibility, but if my issues continue I may look at filing a lemon law complaint and having the dealer purchase the vehicle back from me, but would like to avoid that if possible.
