Default leaking coolant need some help

Well I came out the house the other day and I noticed I was leaking coolant. It was dripping out from behind the dampaner pullie. But the catch is it would just be dripping lightly one second and the next I would be dripping heavily. Well I ran to the store and came back and it wasn't doing it any more. I thought it was kinda wierd . I'm thinking it might be the water pump. But I'm open to any other idea

Sounds like your water pump is leaking out the weep hole signifying a water pump replacement is in your future.
