All vehicles will have recalls like crazy... it's not gonna be anything new... so many people out to sue that they try their best to fix what they can... I have a 2012 overland and had some solenoid go out in the tranny... All was taken care of and that's all I can ask... no other issues and 40k on the clock now with lots of towing the MJ...

I'm 69 years old and biased, but I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about buying a restored 60's car and just driving it and repairing it until I can't anymore and then turning in my liscence! Maybe I should build a 60 mph enclosed wheelchair.

My 2000 WJ is probably my last newer car anyway!

Sorry to rant!
I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee (Limited) in May of this year and already have 8K miles. There were some problems with the center console and after a few software upgrades and two radio replacements the problem was finally resolved. I love my Jeep now that all the glitches are gone. Also, I must say that Chrysler really handled my issue very well.

Oh ya forgot about my radio... something keeps erasing the second storage settings for seats and radio but I don't even know what stores that info... I just use the wife's settings when I drive it... not even sure it's still still a problem lol... out of warranty now anyways...

Today I started it and the climate control came on AUTO, even though I left it OFF when I last used it. Other times the AC has come on, another time the climate control shut off before I was done driving.

Also today, all the buttons on the front and back of the steering wheel (except for cruise control) stopped working. I shut the engine off and re-started and it didn't work. I reset the radio (I think. I guessed and held the Volume and Tune buttons and it seemed to recycle power to the screen) but that didn't work either. Later on, after being home for awhile I went and re-check it and the buttons seemed to work.

Although I'm leasing it, I put a bunch of money down to lower my payment and was hoping to buy it at the end of the lease. I hope that wasn't a mistake. Going to take a ride to the dealer tomorrow.
I no longer own this piece of crap. After two radios and the vehicle locking me out one night...no kidding, I couldn't get in it for ten minutes I drove to the dealer the next day and they swapped this piece of garbage out with a 2014 Ram 1500 Express Crew Cab. Of course I don't have half the options I had in the GC but I didn't feel like putting money out of my pocket or paying more per month. BTW...I was told by the service manager that the two radios put in my vehicle were refurbs sent my the manufacturer. Arbitration would have taken two years (coincidentally the remainder of my lease) and no guarantee the manufacturer would've purchased it back. And the lemon law would've taken about a year and a half. Honestly did not even want another crappy Chrysler product but thats all the dealer sells. I've had two Rams in the past with no issues so hopefully I can continue the trend. The dealer did right by me, but I am pissed with Chrysler.

In any event, goodbye you piece of crap GC!
