Default 2010 Jeep Laredo RKE receiver

Good day all. I have just purchased a 2010 Jeep Laredo. The Key fob does not function. I have done all the simple things such as replace batteries etc. I have been searching the web and have found nothing useful. Is anyone aware of where the RKE receiver is located? The vehicle is right hand drive. So I would assume that it would be behind the glove box. I have checked and found a cable with a connector which does not have anywhere to plug into. Most likely the receiver was salvaged by the dealer who sold it to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Yes thank you. I came across that a while back. But it didn't work for me . Super pissed about the dealership. There are lots of faults with the car which I only found out after taking possession. I found another page that said I cannot self program the fobs. It needs to go in for programming.
