Default 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Key Fob Issues

Hello, there. I am a newbie to this forum and this is my first thread / post. I own a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that has key fobs decided to quite working. The first key fob that i was using decided to stop unlocking and locking the doors, but would still start the ignition. The primary fob has now decided to stop working entirely, even after I changed the battery to a brand new one straight out of the package. The backup / secondary fob will unlock and lock the doors but will not start the ignition. All lights and sounds come on accordingly when I try to start it, it will just not turn over or even try. Does anyone have any suggestions or same difficulties I am having? The primary fob came with the Jeep when I purchased it and the secondary I purchased independently and had it programmed by a locksmith. It was working completely at the time of program. Any suggestions / tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
