2003 grand cherokee stuck in first gear
I have a 2003 Jeep grand cherokee Laredo. Recently when I put it in drive it refuses to come out of first gear. It used to do this when low on transmission fluid, but now it's full and still won't do anything. Even when manually putting it in second gear it just stays in first, but reverse and neutral work fine.
it shows a code P1762
(governor pressure sensor offset voltage too high or low)
Im assuming this means one of sensors isnt reciving the correct voltage and can't work, but I'm not sure. Is there a way to figure out which sensor is throwing the code, or to see what is causing it to stick in first gear?
thanks!
