Sorry if I sounded rude. I was just curious if you got it. Besides, if you're going to be a member of this forum, you should be ready for some sarcasm! All in fun. BTW, welcome to CF!

I so miss the days where everything was mounted to the side of the firewalls and not under the river, over the mountain, round the bend, just to get to one bolt. Have to disassemble half the left front of the vehicle to get to a plastic tank makes me hate modern engineers. Guess they are in cahoots with the mechanics. Make it so overly complicated people give up and take it in, must have taken a lesson from big brother.

I have done all this, but run into a snag, step 12. Everything is removed and disconnected (three bolts (one from the neck two from the tank) and two pumps pulled from the tank) yet it still wont budge up, down, left, right, forward, backward. It seems it is still locked behind the sway bar. The vehicle is lifted up but that doesnt do much good on getting that bar out of the way. Any help would be appreciated. All this because the side leaks. This is a 2001 btw but the

This is a Grand Cherokee, the long neck and the tank behind the bumper. I found damage to the frame, had to cut most of it out and re-fabricate it. It worked though.

I realize that. I was just saying it's much more difficult to remove one from an XJ because you have to remove the fender! The only part of it that is in the engine compartment is the filler cap!
