2000 cherokee a/c freezes up

Default 2000 cherokee a/c freezes up
a/c works fine, pressures good, quites after awhile and takes 10 to 15 to start working again and blows waay cold.
any ideas?

Does the fan come on? What is the high pressure reading when it shuts off?
