Default 1998 EGR System Failure

I have a 1998 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo that gives me a "check engine" light. when I read the codes it says B2E EGR system failure "active" . The jeep runs really well at almost any speed or condition but does have a rough idle sometimes. I'm still looking and find EGR info on other years but not the 1998. Any ideas

I also see a code that says B21 Engine is cold too long active
USF System Rich R-Idle ADAP at Lean limit.
Not sure if these are all related.

Did you check the egr hoses on the airbox, they run from the back of the box to the to the egr solenoid to the driver side fender wall near the the airbox. Pull that connector and check it mine was all corroded, cleaned with contact cleaner and blew hoses out and it cleared up some

You may want to post this in the Grand Cherokee Forum. This is the XJ Cherokee Forum.

XJ's don't have a Body Control Module. All we see are "P" codes.
