1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee front end clunking noise!!

As far as the clunking noise, check out the caliper bolts. That's what it was on mine.

From the pic, it looks like it got the fender and probably the rotor and caliper.

Dave1123 is right about the damage. Had to replace the rotor, caliper bolts, the wheel itself ( all chewed up on the inside), and of course the fender.

Did you get it stopped before grinding away the lower ball joint? Yes. you did. I see the rotor was still there.
