Default 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Brakes

Hello all,
Couple of things, I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Put new Breaks on and Now I have Check ABS Light in Dash and Check Breaks. When I break its really sticks and makes like a compressor sound and pushes break pedal up.

Welcome. Please don't break your Grand!

ABS light? Sounds like you have a problem with your brakes.

Also, you probably should post this in the Grand Cheokee Technical forum.

I'll report your post to the mods (not in a bad way!) and one of them will probably move it for you.

Your ABS sensors are a suspect. You might have messed up the sensor wires when you did the brake job. OR the sensor itself. Sounds like one of them is triggering the ABS to engage, which could mean that one of them is confusing the ABS control module and it's firing the ABS pump, which is what you hear, and that's why the brake pedal is getting pumped up.
