Default 1988/2013 Jeep Tires

I have an 88 Jeep Cherokee and I am going to put an 4.5 inch lift on it. There's these tires I am interested in off of a 2013 Rubicon. The tire demensions are 255/75/15 (31 1/2 inches tall). Will they fit? And is the offset the same? What do you recommend I do?

The bolt pattern is larger on the 2013 Jeep.

The tires will fit. The wheels will not. As long as your wheels are 7 to 8 inches wide, you shouldn't have a problem. Your XJ has a 5X4.5 bolt pattern, while the Rubi has a 5X5 pattern, I believe.

The Rubi tires won't fit his rims either, he has 15" wheels, the Rubi most likely has 16" or 17" wheels.

New Rubicons sport 17 inch wheels from the factory.

You could always get a spacer/ adapter to change the bolt pattern and yes, it's a 17" Tim on the rubicon. It's also a 5x5 pattern
