My wife was driving along in town and it just shut down for no reason on her 06 jeep wk 3.7.it shows dtc u0100 it shut off while driving it then no crank/no shift/key stuck/dash all lit up....i`m thinking computer died but it briefly split second when i turn key on it shows tranny over temp but it sat for months not started. There is a tag under and on the hood that says pcm flashed in 08. It doesn`t come out of park either.i replaced timing chains/valve guide seals thinking it read that there was a descrepancy of the cam/crank sensor(previously i replced them) and automatically went into ASD=Auto Shut Down because of it.reassembled it and DTC said no comms with computer and no other DTCs.i`m up in arms because i don`t have any certain idea of what happened to it.Anyone know much about this problem?
