Check your windshield for leaks...I discovered mine is leaking and my passenger floorboard gets soaked. I'm scared of what I will find under there when I rip the carpet up.
Thanks. It came with the police package. Actually held water really good insted of letting it soak through the floor. Sadly it didnt stop it.

And I will try on the prep details. Still not completely clear on prep myself. I swore I would never bedline the floors. Then I found- the rust. I plan on doing it weekend after next. Just waiting on funds to free up.

I think im going to use the baby powder trick that people use on MJs.

Not sure if I really need the steering box. Mine actually steers really good so I see no reason to replace quite yet. Im only 3 inch lift and 31s. But not for long...

But I do plan on the tie rod.

Thanks dude, I will be starting my thread before too long. Been busy fixing things, and now Rubicon Express coils are backordered for who knows how long, so I'm thinking of canceling my order and going with something else. Things will really start rolling once I get these springs in.

Do elaborate on the baby powder trick! I haven't heard of that one. I have some rust in the door corners that I need to take care of and I'm going to rhino-line it all, and the doors up to the trim (removing eventually). The salt-belt here in Central PA is brutal.

Im sure the springs will be worth it. I heard RE is great.

You put baby powder on ther spots where you think its leaking from, and it will leave a trail of baby powder on the inside and will lead you right to the leak next time it rains. Or waterhose.

Interesting...I might have to look into that.

I also find it interesting that the UpCountry package sports the Dana 35. You're going to swap that out, right?

Its because of the ABS. Thats why it has a 35. I am going to swap it out eventually, but for now, no. Since im staying 31s, unless i find 16 inch rims, i have no real reason. Especially since the gears appear to be in great condition.

Also the 35 has a actual working LSD. Thats another plus. But im not going to put any money into it.
