lol....
i have a foot that can do that
yeah shine the spreadsheet I'm trying to keep a mental note
and almost lost sleep last night as it crossed my mind while I was laying there.... guess once I'm done with paint and lift I'm just going to keep the wheels/tires I have now for a long while (because lift/paint/windshield will eat up $1500)... its gonna look really goofy I think....

The police packages had the switch because back in the olden days when cop cars had standard lights, spot lights, sirens, etc, the idle switch came in handy to keep the idle up and keep up the charge without having to keep your foot on the gas. Some XJ guys like it for winching.

Im up to $1300 or so.
And yup the Ext idle holds it at 1k RPM.
and I thought about doing a port job, but I decided the head was clean enough that I wasnt going to worry about it.

perfect sense right here...
excellent deal, can't beat that price for sure.. I'm sooo jealous... yeah I can't keep myself from doing it when its tore down, I'm sick like that, even if I half way do it just something about cleaning it up a bit makes it worthwhile, when it probably doesn't do a thing
good to hear.... how many actual man hours did it take??

Probably around 10 hours with me alone half the time, and with my dad the other time.

I just let it run for a few minutes to make sure everything was fine. I still need to change the oil.
The other problems that the Jeep still has are:
It idles a pretty good bit rougher than it did before the HG/Radiator blew
-------
It has low oil pressure (around 10 PSI at warm idle) and im hoping it is just the coolant in the oil thinning it out. It isnt milky, just a light brown.
If not, and the oil pressure stays the same, then im going to have to choose between spending more money tracing down that problem or selling it to put the money into the 89.
------
Goes through alot of tranny fluid even though it has a new filter and gasket

Just realized I never updated this. Well I changed the oil with Quaker State 10-30 for now, since I dont really drive it. It still has low oil pressure. 10 at warm idle and 40 at startup. I fixed the catalytic converter rattle. And thats about it. Sorry I don't have a good update after all this time. Bren driving my lowered Acura Integra. 30 MPG but not a fun as the XJ. Will be sure to post more frequently in the coming months.
