I talked with 'monkey' and I have his email address if anyone else is interested in a set of these sliders.

Here's some videos of this weekend:

You can see me pivot on the rock using the slider:

First time through this rock garden. I'm still stoked:

You can hear how hard I hit these in this vid, just before the creek.

My movie from the whole day. We're going back week after next:

She's flexes out pretty well. Talk about a good spotter, check out that front tire.

It was awesome to see opposite tires each about 3 feet off the ground in that rock garden saturday! I am going to have to invest in some of those sliders... after the lockers.

Your rig is the Ideal XJ!!

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with it since that was the first time out with the sliders and the first time through the rock garden. A good spotter makes the driver look good.

Thanks, just a used set of 34 LTB's and a few hours with a grooving iron.

I do like the way they grip, a little noisy on the road though.

Got myself a front bumper and winch, thanks to a couple of guys in the club. Mike bought a new bumper and gave me his old one to modify and Josh decided to sell his XRC8 that had only been used once, so I grabbed it.

This is what I started with. I originally mocked the lights at the top of the stinger, but didn't like how they blocked the view from the drivers' seat.

I cut off the side tubes that were tweaked and took the grinder to them. Sprayed the whole thing with black BBQ paint. You know, just in case it gets hot out.

Decided to get a cover for the winch and made some light tabs for the KC's. Jareb welded them on yesterday for me. Thanks!

I may add a grille guard type bar to this in the future, but really want to keep the approach angle to a minimum.

I used the winch during the hurricane to pull a tree back from falling on the house, worked great! Can't wait to use it on the trails.

I also got 4 RE shocks off of Josh that made a world of difference. I didn't realize the DS front was blown out. It handles much better on the road.

That's about it for now.....

Thanks! I appreciate that. I've got some things to do to it, like new tires, and a few repairs, but overall I love it.

Some of both. We try to have something going on almost every weekend, but if not, someone usually asks about going for a ride. We go to Allwheels a lot and do the Diehard weekend at Rock Mountain Terrain Park in Carthage, that's camping and wheeling. We have some private land that we wheel too. So yea, there's usually something going on. We try to include BBQ's and such as well as some of our vendors, like 4x4Groupbuy. Check out the club at Maine4x4.org
