Thanks very much. My wife says I love it more than her.
I just got an email from Doug. FWIW, he's really good to deal with, wanted me to give him a lot of feedback on the install, etc. I ended up paying $300 shipped through Ebay. Another point, he didn't want to ask for money in advance, but members over at NAXJA suggested it so he wouldn't have to front the money himself, which was casuing the delay.
I also found that using a body rasp to fit them worked fast & easy.
Here's the Email:

$300 including shipping*
Hey zr,
Thought you might be interested in the latest development with the fender flares!
There has been a lot of excitement about the quality, appearance, and durability of these new Fender Flares. There are some great product reviews and video that’s been posted on by guys that bought the first sets. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthrea...987254&page=17
It’s taken a lot of work to get to the point of making more of these available but we are ready.
Not too long ago you sent an email that you were interested in a set of these Fender Flares. Another batch of the fender flares for the four door Cherokee is about to be made and you are on the contact list. The price will depend upon how many people are ready to buy the Fender Flares. If 20 people are ready to buy then the price can be lower and you can save money.
To get the best price on UV Resistant 3/16" ABS plastic requires buying a full pallet. A full pallet of ABS is enough to make more than 20 sets of Fender Flares but gives the best pricing. A complete set of Fender Flares made from this ABS would cost $300 with shipping. A full pallet of ABS can take about 6 weeks to get so the new fender flares would ship out within 8 weeks. That’s a long wait but you get a great quality product that very few other people have!
The other option is to go with a smaller order of 3/16" ABS and make just a few sets at a time. But in small quantities the production and plastic costs more. A complete set of Fender Flares made from a small order of ABS would cost $385 with shipping.
If 20 people really want a set of these new Fender Flares and don’t mind paying $240 in advance, plus $60 before just shipping, then you save money. You would have new Fender Flares in about 8 weeks but at a spectacular price & awesome quality.
Let me know if you are interested within the next week, by April 7, 2010. If 20 people are interested then a special sale will be set up through Paypal (no account needed) for the $240 deposit. Paypal provides protection for the buyer so your transaction is safe. When the flares are ready to ship, in about 8 weeks, then you can pay the remaining $60.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Well, I didn't buy it; it came with the Jeep, NIB. I think it's a Flowmaster muffler, some type of hi-flow cat and just stock header and tailpipe from Walker, I think. I had a short pipe made up for the O2 sensor. I cut the 'bung' out of the old pipe, used a holesaw in the new one & had a guy weld it in. I like the sound and it isn't too bad in the cab.

2nd run with her. My TC is making noise after having it in lo most of the day, but other than that, I'm very impressed. Now I just got to get some armor on it, so I can really test it out.

Got an update:
Check these bad boys out. A good friend of mine bartered with me for electrical work and he fabbed these up for me. They are 2x6 tube that he capped and tapered to fit the wheel well.
He cut out the rockers and welded them in, then added the supports to the frame rails.
I am tickled pink with them. They stiffen it up a lot and are very solid.
I took it home and started notching my flares from http://www.napierprecisionproducts.com/
Got them to fit pretty easily.
I then seam sealed the braces where they contact the floor and sprayed it with undercoat on the bottom. I taped off the very edge of the 2x6 and painted the rest with 2 coats of black primer, then 2 coats of semi-gloss.
Got to love custom work. Monkeybars offroad. PM me for more information if you are interested. I don't know if he is willing to ship, but I bet I could talk him into it.

love your rocker armor!! My rockers are mostly rotted out and that seems like the best thing to do. Fix my rust, add some unibody strength, and add some protection!!!! I dont really see a downside lol

Thanks!
Mine were solid, but I dented both on rocks. Luckily I didn't get into the doors, but I knew I was pushing my luck.
It's the best way of doing sliders that I've seen. The ground clearance isn't lost either.
