Xj to yj help

Hi I have a jeep yj and the rear axle is shot looking to swap it with the xj dana 35 just to get back on road

Anyone done this? and tip for me?
new to jeeping and just need guidance

Engine: 4.3L with headers and full 3" exhaust system

As far as I know you will have to move the spring pads, but other than that it is pretty straight forward

Depending on your gear ratio you might be in for a hard find for the right ratio XJ axle. Try looking at car-part in your local area and i'd be willing to bet your could find another wrangler rear setup with not much hassle other than bolting the new axle in vs an xj rear axle swapping the leaf spring perch's at the very least
