Thanks! I have some plans for during or after winter. should be good.
I will say though, it has been amazingly capable and is super stable at the height it is now. Im really liking it.

that is about 10 psi. I usually run 9-10 and it works well. I have never been close to loosing a bead. next time out im gonna drop some more. even at 9 they flex, but not like I would expect them too. gonna try 7-8 and see how it goes.
I will say also, with the km2's, once you go below 12, its really where they start to work

got anther track bar today. Rubicon express with the cross brace also.
Guy I know had it, said it needed to be rebuilt. I got it for a good deal.
Mine needs to be replaced because it pulled the end off so I welded it solid. once i lowered the front it shifted the axle and needs to be readjusted.

So here is how to rebuild a rubicon express super flex joint.
You dont need a spanner wrench but it helps, their socket would be a big help to tighten it down also, but I used a hammer and punch

This is the assembly

once you unscrew the spanner nut you can knock out the insides.
There will be (after the nut) one nylon race, the ball, another nylon race, and a metal washer. behind this is a snap ring, but it does not need to be removed.

So once everything was removed, I just cleaned everything up and inspected. The races are actually in great shape, the ball has some chrome flaking, and will get replaced later down the road.

here are the races

and one race next to the ball

this is being assembled, washer and inner race in.

then I put everything in, set the races with a punch, then tightened up the spanner nut until it was tight, I wasnt quite to the next hole to lock the spanner nut, so I kept going until it was lined up. then put the set screw back in and viola. done.

now the bushing end was pretty beat also. Fortunately I had some poly bushings around as spares for my current track bar. Wouldnt you know it, one of them was perfect. I pressed them in with my manual press and this thing should be ready to rock.

Nope, no shackle relocation. My angles are great.
Hopefully ill be doing my rear plates soon. I need to keep my rear springs from pretzeling up at full stuff.

In regaurds to the springplates I made mine out of 1/2' plate, used a portaband and a drill press. Total cost was $15.

Got to get out and wheel some more yesterday. Beutiful day for january.
I installed a new spicer 1310 joint in my front shaft the night before. took care of my highway vibes. (and I found out our warehouse at work carries the 1310 spicers and 760x axle joints at a great price)
got out and wheeled for a good 3-4 hours. we were on the last obstacle and this happened.

This is just coming over the spot that broke it. I wish the pic wasnt taken down hill so you could really see what this little set of rock steps looked like. But its all I got.
