it's ok to hit progressives during normal driving. They'll compress a good 30-40% before the really "stop" you, and even then it's not a hard bump. You can throw a cylinder of UHMW or aluminum in the middle as a hard stop.

Is it ok, of course. Do I want to be hitting the bumps during normal driving, no.

Got a set of Trail Ready beadlocks with the rock rings.
Ill have pics once they are mounted

No anti-coning rings. They arent weld on locks. They are trail readys.
I also swapped out my 3.5" coils for 4.5's. Pics to come. Until the front end is comp cut there just wasnt the space I wanted to with the 40's and 3.5" coils.

I will go back down. Its going to be a pretty involved project to get the uptravel I want with it at that height though.
My friend was here today, and on 4.5" coils and 35's my jeep sat 1" taller.
My ultimate goal is to just comp cut the front and run ORI's

Sounds like a plan. How about a full belly skid? Any plans since your going to sit so low?

I'm kind of waiting until I get the t-case/cases figured out. I am building a traction bar and may use it as a rear support and plate from the x member for it to the trans x member.
I think I'm going to run a rubi case at this point, so I think ill be safe with the x members.

I have been debating what to do with my upper link. It is too long and there isnt enough separation at the frame side. I want it on the frame and off the x-member like the lowers. I debated for a while and came across ruffstuffs 3 legged bracket. Being poor I decided to make something similar, because I think it will work.
Im going to plate the inside of the frame with angle iron, but up the frame and across the floor. Tied into the bottom stiffener. So this mount will be wended the angle up the frame and across the floor.
I have to clean it up a bit and round off the tab better but I think it will due.
Its 3x3 1/4" wall square tube with one side cut off. Then I cut 2, 3/8" thick tabs that fit inside. I welded one in and tacked the other, I need to put my mock up joint in to make sure the spacing is right.

Did a little work today. Got the inside of the frame plated and ready for my new upper link mount. I forgot to drill the holes out to 5/8" and didnt have one at work so I didnt get to weld the actual mount in.
Looks like its going to come out pretty nice though. Kind of wish I got to weld it in, but eh, next weekend I guess.
