Yes I will be drilling and tapping myself. There are some good write ups on pirate about it already. But when the time comes, I will try and do a good job of detailing it.

I have to get some pics, but I got my tranny cooler mounted and plumbed this morning.
Then I decided to box in the lower control arm mounts. I had ripped one off and now Im wary of them. So I plated it solid and welded the plate to the axle housing for the most strength.
When I was done I noticed this

So I just got done putting in my spare. Time to find some more...

Heres where I ended up mounting the cooler. Its attached to the header panel behind the grille. I didnt want it up against the condensor. So there is a nice air gap behind it, which should help keep it cooler, and whats behind it cooler

Then this morning I decided to make a small truss for the front axle. Ive debated it for a while, so I just decided to do it.
Here it is in mock up.

Hard to tell but its butted up against the pass side control arm mount

Heres the front being stitched in

The welds loook better in the back because I had to snake around the steering and track bar but its burned in good.
I think its 2"x2" square tube, 3/16" wall. I cut one side off to go over the axle. Fits pretty well. Cant hurt to be on there. It will also support the upper mount.

Well I wheeled the hell out of this thing today. I did many spots that I have been denied in the past, and even hit some new stuff I would have never tried. The jeep worked flawlessly and Im really impressed with it today.
Only one problem, that I knew was coming as they have been getting worse, but the pass side spring really bit the dust today. It bent bad, and in the pic, its sitting on the bumpstop

That was a soft bumper landing lol. not even a scratch, and it has some dents from coming down on it.
