Good job on getting them to fit! Im surprised. What was your final backspacing after the spacer? I ended up right back at 4.5 with the Moab wheels.
With my setup I mounted the trackbar over the axle, and did the steering over the knuckle. This left a lot of clearance issues. If you want to run an over the axle trackbar you will need offset rod ends to clear the bracket in order to turn right again
...To run offset rod ends you will likely need 16+ steel or 17"+ alum wheels. Did you ever want to do OTK steer or an OTA trackbar? Its a really nice upgrade to the WJ setup.

edit:
here is a steering stabilizer clamp i made and used the old trackbar mount to mount it. http://www.xjsocal.com/showthread.ph...abilizer-clamp

did you end up using the stock track bar mount for the stabilizer?
Thats too low for me, even my track bar gets beat up pretty bad.
I will eventually go over the axle with the track bar, for now it works pretty well and I have 0 bump steer.
When I do it will probably be the same time I do new dom steering, which I will put a roughly 15 degree bend at each end just after the insert to clear everything and not use an offset end.
Oh, and no spacers in the front, just 3.75" backspace on the wheels. With even just 1/4" less backspace, I would not have had to do any grinding at all. It didnt take much, but with that much difference, I would not have had to do any.
Oh and my total investment with all the parts came out to 360$

I didnt take pics because it went along faster than I thought but I installed new upper control arm bushings on the axle side this morning.
For anyone who needs to do it, its pretty easy. I put the body on jackstands and let the axle drop all the way down for working room. I pulled the upper arm off of one side at a time and removed the bushings. To get them out, you just chisel around the back side, folding the bushing into its self and it will start to come out. Then I just chiseled behind the lip on the other side and drove it out.
To install them, you will want a ball joint press to make it easiest. Fortunately I own one. I drove it right in with the press and put it back together.
No more clunking and no more death wobble.
I also got my 2 new tires! I will get them mounted this week.

and height, unmounted

Thanks man!
The wj swap is awesome, I really recommend it to anyone running anything bigger than a 33" tire.
Im planning out my 3 link too. My list for the summer is;
Cutting and modifying front inner fender,
Fabbing new rear wheel wells
New rear leafs
3 link in the front with heims
and some sort of roll over protection. Even if minimal for now.

I cant say my steering is any better, because it wasnt bad to begin with, but its definitely stronger how I did it.
I dont like inverted y/t steering because of the toe change through the suspensions travel, and every time I do something that affects ride height I had to readjust the toe. Now with cross over steering, I never have to worry about that.

Got my new tires mounted, some more trimming done and got to take it out.
Tires work awesome. Im really happy with them. I hit some really good stuff, and walked stuff I used to have to take multiple attempts with.
Here are some pics

I decided to mod the power steering pump while I wait to do hydro assist. Its coming but until then it needs all the help it can get.
I started by removing the fitting that the pressure line goes into on top of the pump

Heres what the fitting looks like once its removed

and this is the orifice that you want to enlarge. You dont want to go overboard. I went up 3 drill sizes, I forget what it ended up being

after drilling

seems better in the driveway, but its hard to tell. We will see what happens on my next outing.
