Yea, just read in JP Mag that the KM2 is one of the lightest tires out there, which I like.
I remember reading about the H2 wheels.... I was thinkin about doing the same thing but with H1 wheels instead.

Thanks. I think when it comes time for tires again after the 37's is when it will get stretched, linked and 39's.
I thought about h1 beadlocks. They would have to be recentered to get the backspace I want, and they are heavy. I think when the time comes ill go to like a rock ready beadlock, or something aluminum and decent weight. Rolling mass is starting to get heavy.

tons are gonna be on hold for now I think. I have some other things I need to do first. Gonna list them for sale and see what happens.
If no one buys them for what I want they will just go to the backburner for now.
One way or another it will have axle upgrades, but Im still going back and forth

Tons are expensive! I'm like 3000 into mine now and still have to buy wheels and tires. I have a lot more going into it than what i thought i would. Why'd you change your mind?

i was on the fence to begin with. At least at this time.
I figured out the cost to do the axles and its in the 3k neighborhood, like yous aid, plus wheels. i can sell my stuff and offset it a bit.
The main reason(s) right now are, that it is still my daily driver, and I will be looking for another house hopefully within the year.
Currently my house is 75' away from the garage, and I would have to wire for my welder. I have 200amp service, but running from the house to the garage will be expensive, and I will be selling the house. I figure better off to save the money and make sure I do it right on the next house.
The next house will also have a bigger garage.
So I figure I will wait until Im in the next house, I have room to just park it in the garage, and have another vehicle to drive.
I do have a spare vehicle, but my wife commutes in it to save mileage on our 2005 Grand Cherokee.
So thats the deal for now.
Honestly, I may end up putting rcv's in the 30 and going to 37's anyway.
Also there is a lot I want to do to the chassis to get it ready.
So the build will not stop, but the tons will be on hold.
Dont worry guys, it will still be good!

plans for the moment are to box in my x member and taper the ends.
Move the rear shock mounts up and move the upper mounts into the cabin. Not sure on how I want to do this yet.
build some skidding for underneath.
hydro assist
Find a 8 lug d44 for the front. This will probably be next years project, but what I decided on. Being that I wont run over a 37.

I will try. I can say that on the bumpstop, there is literally about 1/2" to the frame rail. That is with the 35 touching the inner fender. stock upper bumps and 3 hockey pucks for reference.

dont forget mine are custom too, and the x-member mounts are actually higher than off the shelf kits, which would actually make for less frame clearance

Ok guys, gonna have some good updates in the next coming week. x-member is gonna get reworked, I have one frame stiffener cut, just have to drill holes for rosettes in second.
gonna get that all done, then hopefully move on to rear bump plates.
x-member is going to get raised, the ends angled up, plated, and I will be adding a t-case skid to it.
This is going to start the process for box rocers and mini boat sides that will come leater.
Also Im going to start framing up new rear wheel wells to get the back sealed in because of how the quarters are cut.
Ill do my best to get pics of the whole process as it gets completed. I hope to wheel it next weekend to try it out.
