Taking one look at this thing from the begining that is just a sick idea!! I can't believe what he went through on this and then sold it....would be nice to see another CF member post up a thread that they own it and playing with it. I don't think I would ever take it this far but man if I had the time and fab skills then I would!!!! Inspiration for a later project when I have my shop I guess.

Default Body mounts?

I have a 95 XJ that's so rusted I am literally missing a 4-ft section of the unibody frame on the passenger side. How did you connect the frame to the unibody. Because from the factory it is the frame first there is two floor pans the front and the back is brought down and welded to the frame then the body is brought down and it is welded to the floor pans. So how did you weld the frame to the floor pans. Because on the original frame you had about a half an inch lip on both sides that's what the floor pan the spot welded to. So how did you bypass that because I'm facing the same situation. Well I'm trying to do I cut out frame rails from another XJ and I am planting the new frame rails into my old frame rails. I don't know any other way to do this then I came across your XJ. How did you do it.
