Project Updates:

Overhauled the cooling system to be an Open system. Ditched that crappy closed radiator and pressure bottle.
Replaced the cluster Temp sending unit, so the gauge in the cluster works now.
Put a HO thermostat housing in place to be able to use the temperature sender port for a Autometer digital temp gauge installed in a Core4x4 clock replacement panel.
2" lift shackles installed
3.5" RE Coils installed
RE Sway Bar disconnects have arrived, will install when i do the short arms.
Need Extended Brake Lines
Transmission wont drop in to OD in 4th gear.... i think. need to investigate
Ironman4x4 Short arms Arrived, but have not had time to install them.
Painted the valve cover with High Temp Black
Hayden tranny cooler installed

Welp shes done for the winter. A few things to do in the spring, but it feels good to finally get it to a finishing stage. Sure been allot of work to resurrect it.

Finished for winter.

Finally got a good solid mountain trip on it. My E-fan isnt working, so ill need to diagnose the relay circuit. Hit 220 a couple times while in high slip/stall conditions climbing hills. Thinking i may throw K-suspensions 3 way relay harness on to it jsut as backup when summer actually gets here Everything else worked great. never got above 218 climbing a 5000 ft pass(granite pass).

No pics, but added in ksuspensions e fan harness, and wired it to a switch on the clock replacemt panel. Easy 10 minute install. W fan works on the switch now. Chasing no brake lights, seems when swapping the booster over, I didn't grind the rod flat enough, so the brake light switch slides down and doesn't make good contact. Ughhhh. Looking in to a foot pressure switch now.

Still chasing the brake light issue. i cant get the light switch to stay "up", it eventually slides down and doesnt get enough pressure. i may just have to go to a foot pressure switch. i may have the bushings in the wrong spot, but i have the nuts cranked as far tightened as they will go. cleaned the IAC valve, so hopefully that fixes the high idle issues, the little back sleeve has lots of play in it, so i may have to just replace it. the power steering pressure hose started leaking, so i guess i better order a new one of those as well.

Got fed up with the stock brake switch. Installed a generic brake light switch next to the TC lockup switch as well as readjusted that to fully depress as soon as the brake pedal is triggered. OD in 4th is back!
that hole next to it, was like it was meant for the universal switch. So much easier than fiddling with grinding the rod flat. To secure it to the pedal, I just bent the spring hook around the top of the bolt and hooked on the pedal. I didn't have any hose clamps to secure it to the pedal, so for the meantime, some baling wire does the trick.

Finally got around to installing the 4way trailer wiring harness. Just in time for camping season to pull the little green trailer.

Went ahead and dove into the floppy steering column. I thought the typical 4 screws were loose, but it turns out the centering bearing for the top steering shaft is toast. Now I gotta find one of those.

Well now that the Comanche is gone, i can spend some more time on this. It has a high idle issue when its hot out. I'm able to unplug the TPS and it goes away, so im thinking i need to re-adjust it. i cleaned the iac valve and that did no good. i did notice the black sleeve has lots of play in it, so it amy be time for a new one. Next up will be a complete whole new exhaust system. going with an HO header, downpipe, and Resonator, mated to a Cat Back.
