Make sure you have a couple drill bits handy. 5/8 or 3/4 for the passenger side of the frame brace. I've installed 5 of them now, and the frames holes all needed massaged. It feels the same as my MJ. I have the identical setup, except I used cavfab steering instead of dirtbound. But it is literally the exact same thing. I've put about 100 miles I'm not in the last 2 days, trying to hit pot holes and such, it feels good. Since it its only sitting at 2.5"lift, I get a little bit of bumpsteer because the track bar and steering are meant for a 4.5"plus lift, so my angles arent quite prefect . You can however get the same setup for lifts less than 4.5. Here in a month or so, I'll be above 4.5" so I'm not to terribly worried right now.

Put new injectors in today. There were 4 different injectors in there. But she's running all 734s now.
while I had it in the shop, I changed the transmission fluid. Finished everything up right at sunset, so I had to take a break and watch it go down over the mountains with a glass of whisky.

New injectors fixed the leak down issue. Still chasing a transmission gremlin. It wont downshift when i give it full throttle. i adjustd the TV cable last night, did a fluid change as well. i will unplug the TPS sensor and rive it home after work and see if that fixes it. if not, im afraid its time to replace the Shift Solenoids.

After a afternoon of driving it on slushy roads, ad a lack of fender flares, i nearly emptied the washer fluid trying to keep the windshield clean, So i ordered a set of Napier V2 Flares for the front. I ran the Napier Flat Flares on my 99xj, and was impressed with the quality. Will see how these V2's work.

Tested my TPS for tranny issues. Even fully rotated, i could only get .34 volts, and it should be around .84, Picked up an other one at Napa saturday, will install tonight and hopefully this fixes the shifting issue.

Note to self: never assume a part was installed right by a previous owner. As I was taking the air intake tube off to replace the TPS Sensor, I noticed something........can anyone tell me what' wrong here.....

the Arm for the TPS should be below the arm on the TB. As it is now, the TPS is getting no signal to tell the transmission when to shift. I swapped it around, and she shifts perfectly fine now! Tomorrow I will dial in my voltages to get 17% ofbthe engine side, right now it has a high idle due to the sensor being out of adjustment. Man I'm relieved I don't have to tear in to the tranny!

well the twin got some loving today. Removed the rear sway bar, swapped out the dash bulbs in the climate control dash panel, added a ground wire jumper from the body to the instrument panel ground under the dash, and fixed the non working rear wiper. After dissasembling the wiper control box, i could see why it blew the fuse and froze up. there was so much dirt and gunk in there, it just bound up.

Much Better:

Well today was productive of sorts. My Napier front flares came in, so I spent the day installing them. First I had to replace both front fenders from my stock pile, because the P.O. had hacked them up enough that the flares wouldn't fit. Once i got both fenders on, I went ahead and cleaned up the headlight wiring harness connections. Installed the front flares. Only to find that I screwed up a ground somewhere along the harness, as my left blinker light would not work. So i spent 3 hours cleaning every single ground on the jeep. I even split apart the wiring loom on the main driver side harness and cleaned up the 2 ground splices and the one orange hot wire splice. Heck of a way to spend my 29th birthday. Whoops!

Gotta ask, because the underside looks pretty "rust free",,, Do they use salt on the roads in WY?
Also, is it cold in the winter ?? LOL
Daughter made HS National Finals Rodeo 2 years and hauled her/horses to Rock Springs, really liked it in the transition from the plains to mountians area
My Son and I are doing a year long build on his XJ. We plan on taking a week long Off Roading/fishing trip to Dakotas/MT/Wy for his senior trip. I'll hit you up for some trail infi/ideas

thankfully no salt here just deicer on the occasional bad spots. Yes it does get cold over Christmas we averaged about -5. I would say winter averages are in the single digits to teens but the rest of the year is pretty mild. Yuck Rock Springs please don't judge the rest of the state on that town. You bet let me know when you head this way and I'd be glad to show you around.

Rock springs is more or less the Meth Capitol of the state. Yep i fish allot. Mostly Trout, Walleye and Small Mouth. I fly fish mostly, so i take the drift boat all over the platte, the big horn and the wind In addition to fishing the high mountain streams
