We were at the sports complex (Rodeo grounds) 24/7, didn't mingle with the "Locals" much.
We are Smallmouth addicts,, we do about 8, 2-3 day float trips each spring/summer/fall and day trips in between. We'll have the kayaks on the jeep. We are good for class 2 and mild 3

You should hit up the Snake over in Jackson. Let me know when you come this way, I'll show you around.
Went on a little mountain exploring before I RIP the axles out for new brakes and a lift. 2" on 31s, with Napier flares and a good 2" of fender trimmed, and I still managed to fully stuff it on some water bars. Reminds me of my old 99 when I first got it. Had to do some measuring when i got home for a baseline. The Napier flares took some good hits and never deformed!
Got rid of the plexiglass vent window, and swapped it with a solid window from the parts rig. Swapping the window out is really pretty easy. 2 screws and a 10mm bolt inside the door. 30 minutes max.
Got the d30 and 8.25 under the 90 from the donor. Tomorrow begins the project of stripping the bendix 9 and all its components including lines, and swapping in everything from the 96. Also threw in a set of RE 3.5 coils and RC lift shackles from my old 99 XJ. Measures out at 3.75 front lift and 4"rear lift. Shouldn't have any problems tucking 31s now. Ordered ironmanfab adjustable control arms and a set of fatbobs away bar disconnects.

Finally got the 96 donor jeep stripped and off to scrap, 2890lbs. Before anyone flames me.....the interior was destroyed due to cigarette smoke, the airbags had been deployed, and the head was cracked(thus the overheating). I snagged just about everything I could think of that I would need for the 1990. Brake system, including lines, open cooling system, both axles, the center console for my MJ, and misceleous fittings.
Welp, finally got her on the road. Completed the brake swap from Bendix 9 to a manual system from a 96XJ. i literally stripped the entire brake system including hardlines, booster, axles and everything, and swapped them in to the 90. The hardest part was swapping in the hard line for the Right front. I had to remove all the wiring from the engine bay, plus nearly everything on the passenger side, and snake the hard line in to place. After that, it was pretty straightforward. Had to grind down the mast cylinder push rod to be flat and match the brake light switch. The brakes are a tad spongy, but im going to attribute that to the rubber lines. The brakes worked fine in the donor vehicle before i tore them apart. While i had everything apart, i added rear shackles, and wired up the winch i got for half price. I have some Ironmanfab adjustable short arms coming in the mail, so those will go on next. Also in the process of swapping it to a Open Cooling system. Shes now sitting at a measured 4" lift. New shackles going in 4" lift
I cant seem to leave things alone. Cooling system upgrade. Getting rid of that closed system. Also picked up a Fel-Pro valve cover gasket. #6 rockers were loose, will have to re-torque them. Spark plugs were also at a .19 gap. should be at .31-.35

Got the cooling system all back together, and converted it to an open system. While I was at it, I plumbed in a Hayden transmission cooler. Hardest problem Was figuring out how to run the lines. Hayden cooler
