Default Using my Jeep engine for another project and would like some advice.

So as the title says I'm using my Jeep engine to put into a 1948 Ford (best of both worlds with a Dodge engine) and was wondering if the engine from the WJ could be converted to RWD. I have a 2001 WJ with the 4.7 and the constant 4WD.

Is it as simple as getting a drive shaft made to mate it to the diff of my project? Or will I have to go with changing transfer cases and all that?

Thank you for your time.

You will have to swap transfer cases to a np242, or np231, or get a 2wd transmission and driveshaft.
