Thanks. The Ions have worked out so far. They aren't my favorite rims out there, but I wanted some affordable alloys, and these fit my budget.

We went out for a quick test run at our local playground to make sure we're all set before Moab next month.

Awesome! To me, this is a huge part of what building a Cherokee is about. Takes a good dad to realize how valuable this time can be.

Kind words Doug. Much respect for what you are doing for the XJ builders out there.

We had another fantastic trip to Moab. Not completely without incident. Yep, that's my driveline hanging there in the third image. Not to worry, I was able to get off the trail in front wheel drive with minimal recovery help. Once in town, Moab Outpost replaced my rear yoke and u-joint in like an hour while I waited.

My son's 93 did pretty good as well. This was his first trip to Moab without stealing the wheel to my rig the whole trip. Kid's growing up on me.

Trails ran this trip:
Poison Spider-Golden Spike-Gold Bar Rim
7 Mile Rim
Moab Rim
Hells Revenge

Today was a beautiful morning to discover a new trail not 15 minutes from my house. I'm shocked I haven't stumbled across it before. It's not my typical slick rock cup of tea I'm usually seeking, but it's convenient for the days like today where I can quickly get my fix. Sorry no wheeling pics since I was by myself - which I never do, but I wanted to make sure the trail was worth visiting before bringing other rigs out. It was a pretty decent climb though.

Then I spied with my little eye this cute little guy - only about 1.5" long.

Great trip report. Took a second to realize there was something more than a bug on that rock in the last pic. Nice pictures!
