ok, here goes... i just recently purchase this jeep. Its a 1998 Cherokee sport 4 wheel drive, 4 door, 4.0 inline 6. has the up country suspension package from factory. Has 119k miles on it now. Ive done most of the work now so im just gonna be leaving pictures as i go and so on.

day i got it few mths ago...

 

did lots of regular maintenance on it when i got it. The retired guy i bought it from just towed it behind his motor home and just changed oil...lol I decided to change the leaking valve cover gasket, plugs, wires, cap, rotor.

 

repairing the exhaust manifold for now. had a small crack i had to get welded up.

 

while its off im doing the 703 injector upgrade and cleaning the manifold in and out as well as the throttle body and installing a new mopar gasket and mopar exhaust bolts and studs.




painted the rail

 

getting it all back together now!!!

 

replaced the front wheel bearings/ hubs...

 

installing the new Rough Country 4.5 x-series lift with full leaf packs!

 

lift all done!!

 

new Goodyear Duratracs arrived!! 33x12.50x15!!






wheels also made it!! didnt get a pic. Cragar soft 8. 4" BS

 

got the wheels and tires mounted!! still have some more to do but heres how she looks now!

 

not sure if i wanna cut the fenders or not. what do yall think? so i mocked the flares back up to see the looks.

 

i replaced new the front ball joints, tie rods and drag link bar new as well. gave her a test run up my street and its good. just minor things ( exhaust tail pipe rubbing the leaf). The ride is pretty nice as well. more to come soon. thanks yall.
