So I need some advice. I’m building this Jeep for overlanding not rock crawling and was wondering if a locker up front would be a good purchase or if an open carrier up front will be fine. I will have limited slip Chrysler 8.25 in the rear. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I’m guessing you want a autolocker up front? Seems like a good idea to have one up there. That’s what I’m planing on doing. Our builds are probably quite similar at least on a conceptual level.

I have 4.5” lift on 32s. Mine is not really intended for any kind of hardcore rock crawling. Since I haul my son around in it, I wanted to keep proper road manners. You can check out my build through the link in my signature. I will possibly be buying a D30 Spartan this Christmas time.
