New issue, something electrical. At random times it will idle rough, and if I touch the throttle all electrical shuts off. Turn the ignition off, then it will crank over and fire for a few seconds then die.

Let it sit for 20-30 min and it wi run fine again? Already cleaned the grounds.

 

Went back to 33"s, I'm running 33x12.5 bfg mt's now.

Time to swap new fenders on and find a header panel.

 

Little trim and some paint and the front ends good to go cosmetically haha.


When I went to pull the fenders off my parts rig, I found someone stole the steering collum and air filter... Who knows what else is gone that I didn't notice....

 

Trimmed out and painted.


Fixed what I thought was a bad throw out bearing...

Turns out the bell housing bolts backed out and the trans was sitting about 1/4" away from the block.

Tightened the bolts no more noise, guess I should check them more often then every 20k miles.

 

Cleaned the jeep inside and out..


Went wheeling, got it stuck in a spot that was a PITA to get it out of... I'm done wheeling tell I have a winch.

New front and radiator mounts I built, but beefier then the stock sheet metal..


And now to make this into a stubby bumper/winch mount.

 

 

Test fitted, look'n good I think. Time to do a couple finishing touchs and paint it. Decided to finally use some lights I'd been saving for the jeep.

 

All work and no play is no fun.. So we went out wheel'n a bit today!

 

Just ordered RE control arm drop brackets and RE 7.5" coils, time to make the xj sit level!

 

Figured I might as well get some uca's.. So I ordered up some re super flex adjustable control arms, can't wait to get home!

 

Figured I might as well do a little update on this.

Iv done pretty much nothing to it!

Jeep won't start, wen I turn the key nothing happens.

Tried jumping the solenoid and the starter spins, but won't engage. Sounds like it's time for a new starter again.

 

Positive you jumped the right leads?

 

Yes. Already went threw and cleaned grounds along with new ends on the battery cables.

I found some 31" TSL's that I might pick up for my zj, if I do that this xj will be getting the 33" boggers that are currently on my zj.

I think these would do a bit better then the wore out bfg's...
