Just picked up a set of RE 5.5 coils.

I'm having a hard time bitting the bullit and ordering LA's. may end up ordering drop brackets because I'm cheap like that. Lol

When I do the front lift I'll swap the axles in.
Still need to replace the uca bushings on the d30.
I want to get some adjustable uca's.
Soon as I get control arm drop brackets I'll get busy on my front end.
Still figuring out what to do for my steering, went to order the IRO OTK steering setuplast night, but I'm not going to pay $130 for shipping on two pieces of tube...

$130 for just shipping?
I think Ruff Stuff quoted me about $70 for 2-48" sticks of 1.5"x.25" wall DOM and $100 shipping to Eagle River. I already have the heims for my steering just need the tubing.
Edit: Ruff Stuff can get the tubing and rod ends for $320 shipped. You'd have to weld the inserts into the tube though. Not sure I it's something you'd be interested in. I know with the Ruff Stuff set you'd have to drill out your knuckle to a 5/8 or 3/4 depending k. If you want to use spacers or not.

If you google IR-TOTKS you will see the kit I was going to order. Super easy to instal and looked stout, just have to drill the holes for the 5/8" hardware.
The kit is $350, But the shipping was actually $120 for FedEx ground, or $198 for FedEx 2 day shipping. Seems a bit over priced IMO.. Maybe I've just gotten used to having all my stuff shipped for free.
Welding tapered inserts in the knuckle for TRE's is no big deal, but I'd be clueless on getting the bends correct in the tubing. I guess the tie rod would be pretty easy to make.. No bends required, lol.

I'm going to start collecting parts to convert the d44 to disk brakes.
Ordered up a rugged ridge SYE kit. Figured if I'm going to build it, might as well make an attempt at doing it right!
