Long time no posting! Sorry.
Due to life the jeep has sat sense early 2015. Iv been busy working on a few hot rod projects I have going as well.
Anyways, I did get the jeep running last summer but havnt drove it.
Something in the wiring is shot and not sending a signal to the fuse block when I turn the key on. To fix this I ran some wires to the fuse block in place of a relay to a switch inside the jeep. Turn the switch on and all the electronics work as they should, turn the key and she fires up.
Patched the fuel tank, New connectors on the wires to the battery, and it Fired it up today for the first time, started to over heat quickly. I shut it down and found it had no coolant in it. Topped it off, fired it up and no more over heating, unfortunately the coolant pump is leaking now!
So this is my to do list
Brake light switch
Replace coolant pump.
Clean inside of the jeep, it's pretty nasty after sitting for a couple years.
Weld up driver seat bracket
Find new tires. The old bfg mt's don't hold air for more Gen a day or so anymore.
Replace the 2" lift shackles with stock ones.
Then it should be good to go wheeling!

Picked up some 33x12.5 Baja claws
And a new water pump
Pulled a brake light switch from my parts rig
A buddy gave me 4 or 5 newer style header panels. Iv been wanting to swap the front end to the new style for a few years now. all are damaged but between them I'll be able to make one good one.
So tomorrow I start turning wrenchs on it.

Well thats not good! You need a exo-cage before you go doing that kind of stuff! Hopefully you and anyone else who was in there is alright. But I do have to ask, how did you roll it on what looks like a flat ground?

State troopers would have a field day if they catch me on the street, but Alaska a pretty big state and I'm sure they have better things to do then mess with me. Usually just cruise the trails next to the roads unless I'm in my neighborhood.

Little update. I ended up selling this off as parts, also sold my green 2 door as it was rusty enough that I just didn't want to deal with it and for the last year have been jeepless.
Untill now... picked up a 99' classic. its a 4 door and an auto, which is pretty lame but I scored it for dirt cheap. The newer interior is way nice, not to mention everything is electric which is also nice! Heck, even the rear wiper on it still works LOL.. will go into further detail once I start a new build thread.
