What XJoffroad is getting at is different years had different options for axles, some stronger than others. If you had a 97 with a 29 spline 8.25 out back, i'd say be nice to the d30 front and you might be ok. But if you have a 91, with a d35 out back, small u-joint front axles shafts, no way. What year, what axles you got? Being a 95 you will have the small u-joint front axles, and either a 8.25 or a d35 out back. Big difference in strength.

My HP44 front is out of a ford, Ford's were drivers drop. Chevy's were all passenger. Do a bunch of searching on Dana 44, full width swap, etc. you'll learn.
