Good job on the nutstrips. Can't tell 'em apart from the manufactured ones... other than these look beefier.

So you drive it yet?

Don't forget the Sunoco stickers that cover up half the window.

Okay, so I'm officially on vacation...got 5 days for the price of 2, LOL...nothing like getting paid to drink beer, and wrench on your rig, haha!

Did some shiz today. First got the gas tank hoses re-installed, and put the hose guard back on. Not really pic worthy...

Got the rear DS rebuilt, painted, and installed

Then I moved on to the sliders...had to do some trimming as it has all changed now. No big, cutoff wheels FTW

Once I got everything trimmed out right, I mocked em in with temp hardware on the rockers, marked where I needed to grind, removed, ground, and re-installed with new hardware. I also had to tack down some of the nutserts, as they worked their way a bit loose, and chased the threads with a proper tap.

Didn't burn them in as it got too windy. Will do early in the AM, then finish up by tightening the bolts on the rockers. Then, it's on to dialing in the front end, more to come tomorrow...

Yeah, that's always a nice change. Me? I can't even do an oil change within the timelines I set for myself. lmao

Jeep is looking good. Question that has ran through my mind a few times to many and it may have been answered before but what's with the dumpster? Work related kickback?

Edit. Fat fingers and tiny keyboard screens misspell words.

I really like those sliders. Did you build those yourself? I'd like to buy a set like that for mine... well... I'd really like to make a set, but no bender and crappy welder - ain't happenin'.

So jelly! I want to work on my Jeep too!
Nice work! So you're using the stock front driveshaft on the rear @4.5" of lift?

The dumpster?

It's for garbage, LOL
Not work related. Completely different company. We sit on over 3/4 of an acre, have lots of fruit trees and large garden...we mainly use it for yard clippings, and the like. Believe it or not, it's usually full every week. That's in addition to 2 rollers for garbage and a roller for recycling. We also have a large family...

While I did not build them, they were made for me. One of the first things I bought after I got the jeep. Guy on CL was making them local. Gave him my dimensions, he made them, I picked them up. Only paid $130 for the pair. I credit them for getting me into welding, however, as when I picked them up, I thought "I could totally just make these", and shortly thereafter got my first welder and bender. Now I weld for a living, LMAO
