Nice little update we have here!
Got the other LCA mount cut off. My angle grinder died right here and i was one month past my 1year HF warranty But got it cut off and ground down and all is well in the world again
Got the front body cleaned up and ready for paint!
Only managed to get a little bit on me this time!
While the axle is out I figured now would be a good time to get the oil pan gasket replaced. was a bit of a bear getting it on seeing as I didnt have those nifty little felpro screw things that hold the gasket and pan on while you install
In the end I at last got everything under the jeep and ready for the control arms. Waiting on funding for those but hopefully very soon!
Next thing I need to go is pull the pitman arm and ream the hole for the new drag link

Mail!!!
Installation was a little rough as I was unfortunately sent the incorrect directions. Got it mostly all bolted up before contacting Rock Solid Fab asking about the instructions and they sent me the updated and correct directions.
Had to get a little creative with the Johnny joint and the ball joint press
T-case skid
Got everything installed and tight and measured up and its all beef and its all quality! Would definitely buy again! If anyone does decide to buy based off this thread I will say that you need to take your rock sliders off before installation due to it getting in the way of drill angles and OEM frame holes

And we are on our own weight!!
The ONLY thing I need now is a track bar that has been ordered and will be here in a couple weeks. Bled the brakes today and changed the oil. Front drive shaft needs to go in, front diff needs to be filled up

Haha yep I've gotta that comment to every person I've sent that picture to. They are totally screwed together and are actually really stable. I pushed and bumped into the jeep to make sure they were stable and there was very little movement. Just didn't want to buy 6 ton stands lol

Whats missing in this picture???
A track bar!!
Shout out to Core4x4 for making me a measurement specific track bar. Their tier 4 version with Currie Johnny Joints on either side. Would be even better if it fit! Unfortunately one of the johnny joints is about 1/4 inches too wide so they have already shipped a replacement and will be arriving monday!
The rush is on to get derek ready for Jeepin the Coast this coming friday. Im in southern Mississippi and annually Cruisin the Coast brings about 10K people for rides, car shows and a jeep ride! There are all sorts of awesome cars driving around down here from classics to muscle to foreign and i feel like ive seen more jeeps!
Things that need to be done:
- Track bar mount bolt replacement (weld nut broke off)
- track bar installation
- pinion nut tightening
- drive shaft installation
- axle nuts tightening
- get it aligned
- jeep around
If i need to skip the alignment ot make it for the ride i think ill be alright, although id rather not

Looks great but, I couldn't help but notice that bolt holding your draglink to pitman arm looks a tad short, you should have at least two exposed threads outside the nut, or so Im told. Unless it was just for mockup or something, other than that it's looking great
