Updates!
Slow and steady still. Getting things done here and there. Breaking things and figuring out how to fix them.
Knuckles went in

Brake lines came

Hard line aka crazy straw went on (I have ordered nickel copper lines so I think this will be getting replaced)

Got the D30 up on the tires... just because. Still need to put the brakes on

Old and new. Currently in the process of swapping the old drums onto the new axle. Its a pain.

And the leafs are almost out. Just when I thought I hadn't broken anything....

I busted the welds on the nut to the driver's side front leaf bolt. My next endeavor...

More gear coming in the mail this week! Stay tuned!

Its out!

*Cue confetti*

Got a bunch of stuff in the mail

This was my weekend endeavor

This thing was getting in my way so my cutting wheel made quick work of it

Tedious but worth it

Lookin' good man. That chassis saver comes out great. Kudos for spending the time to put that and fresh paint on everything. It makes a huge difference in build quality.
Quite unfortunate about that gear. Do you think it was like that when you bought it? I've always been skeptical of craigslist axles for that reason.
That button under your dash is to program key fobs. You might have an aftermarket alarm system and/or remote start. I discovered mine had remote start after buying it.

Mail call!
Blue Torch 3/8 inch diff covers

Thicker than a bowl of oatmeal

Got the new axle underneath the heep and bolted up with the ubolts (after using my dremel to widen the holes in the spring plate...)

Bumpstops installed, ebrakes installed, drum brakes kind of installed. Missing one little piece. Cant seem to find it but ill keep looking.

Shackles looks good. Still need to get that center bolt. Im sure Ill need to change the shackle angle once I get the tires underneath

This thing is gonna be taller than I had thought lol im 6'3 and its taller than I am...

Hope it fits out of the garage!

Got the Bilsteins all mounted up! Removed my BPEs due to the shocks having a bar pin apparently vulcanized into the bushing.

Fresh drums are installed

Locker is put back together. Im really happy I was able to put this back together because I thought it was going to give me a lot of misery.

Got the Blue Torch diff cover painted and installed with the lube locker gasket on

Today I'm going to be making my rear hard lines. Got some copper nickel 3/16 lines and im ready to go. Just need to grab the flare tool from the auto store.

Welp, here he is on his own weight. Hard lines went well. Had some leaks but they have been fixed. Took it around the block like 10 times. No issues yet. Of course I disconnected the front drive shaft before driving.
