Gonna be doing a cut and fold to the rear quarter panels here soon. Got a rust hole worn in the passnger side and i get mud and water up into my trunk so I thinks its time to fold it up. Gonna be stripping the the bed liner off and possibly repaint to prevent rust from spreading

Cut and fold!
Heres what I started with:

Been getting my freshly painted and sound deadened floor pans hella wet for a while now, but i didnt realize the extent of it until recently

Picked up some gel paint stripper to slather on there and this is like go around number 3 of putting it on and scrapping the bed liner off

Finally got it all off and bare metal totally clean and exposed

Cutting ensued

Of course got the chassis saver laid down after priming with a rust reformer paint

Painted the rear with the chassis saver while it was available

And then the fold

Not ideal as the front of the fold was a little squirrely and didnt want to have a nice sharp fold. Definitely going to be picking up a rivet tool to lay down some pop rivets to hold it all together nice since IDK how to weld
Then got the driver side going. This is as far as I got before I called it a day though

Ideally I would like to pick up a DirtBound Offroad Mojave rear bumper or an Ares Fab rear bumper that fit to the cut n fold. unless someone has a better suggestion for a cut n fold rear bumper

I have Ares Fab a cut and fold and love it. Integrated frame mounts and made of 3/16" and has a pretty slick design, not bulky and protruding like some others. I got mine on sale.

Man does life really get in the way sometimes. Got a pic and update dump for yall
Speakers are new this year and the driver side door one has been acting up. Decided to take a rainy day to use my new solder set to wire them up right as well as wiring up the stereo to the speakers themselves

Half way through

Used clear shrink wrap

Pulled a 1992 For Explorer tranmission cooler, cleaned it up, pumped a bunch of mineral spirits through it until it came out clear, painting it black and installed it!

The cooler itself was $10, the w feet of 3/8 inch tubing was $6 and the metal straps and tubing connectors were $8. Took the time to drain and fill my transmission pan as well with new dex/merc
Next step will be to splice in a gauge for the temperature
