Thanks guy's . Well I seem to get side tracked I picked up another project if I ever get the jeep done, it's a 5 window coupe but I wont touch it till I get the jeep done .
I picked up a new LUK chutch kit 198.95 complete clutch kit 05-065; F167002 I think LUK is oem for jeep , I put a little 242 lock tight on the fly wheel bolts and torqued them to 105 FT , and 38 FT for the pressure plate bolts
LuK Pressure Plate
LuK Clutch Disc (10-3/8" , 10 spline)
Throwout (Release) Bearing
Pilot Bearing
Alignment Tool

I also finished removing the front dana 30 and all a arms, and cleaned up the under side and did a little painting .

Making some progress 4:10 gears and true tracks installed in both axles . knocked out the old ball joints and cleaned it up a bit , and installer new bushing on the D-30 while it is out. I was looking for some heavy duty bolts and straps for the 8.25 u-joint and I found Iron Rock Off Road had a Chrysler 8.25 U-Bolt Yoke Kit, a new yoke sounds better then trying to drill out the old one, those 8 mm bolts look like they would be a problem sooner or later, more so with a stick, 75.00 13.00 shipping cheep insurance I think.

It's all a trade off , I live in the desert , I had a chance to drive through Main in 2010 when I did the USA 4 corners Tour 11,500 miles in 20 days . Main is beautiful it's the greenest state I drove through , rain gear is a plus LOL

I am getting ready to bolt the control arm's to the body then slide the front D-30 under and bolt it up , But I am not real sure about the control arm adjustments, upper and lower I know I will have to adjust for pinion angle later so I will start with 16 1/8 on the lower and 15" on the upper should be 3 1/2 lift when it's done . anyone with some insight on a good starting point please feel free to help a brother out . thanks !!

I am behind on posting on the build , made some progress . I picked up a nice SmittyBilt XRC Front Bumper W/Bull Bar bolt holes were a little off other then that it fit well . I had a nice warn winch xm 10,000 D1 but it was just a little to big, length was ok depth was about 2" off oh well, I will sell it, and buy a smittyBilt xrc 9,000 LB winch . I bought it on Ebay 503.75 or best offer , I offered 475.00 and got it Free shipping .

I had to take off the steering gear box to install the bumper, so I cleaned it up a bit , it's dusty now but it looked good at one time LOL . While I had it off I might as well up grade the steering box support bracket , I could have made one, but at 35.00 on Ebay with free shipping it was a no brainier.

And I got the JKS sway bar QD installed , after braking my Cornwell T55 torque bit LOL . The stock bolt has a torques bit head, but it is pressed in with splines , opps so after heating it with torch and using a cut off wheel I have learned something , and I hope someone reads this so they dont make the same mistake I did .

I also replaced the front hub bearings TIMKEN HA597449 {#5016458, 5016458AA, 53007449AC} at rock auto . and POWER STOP L4340 caliper left and POWER STOP L4339 right no core was nice . and I replaced the rotors with CENTRIC 12667045SR StopTech Sport Slotted Brake Disc . the drilled rotors seem to crack so I with the slotted ones CENTRIC 12667045SR right and CENTRIC 12667045SL left . I also picked up some hawk brake pad I have never used them but the come highly recommended so I will give them a shot . Hawk Performance Ceramic Brake Pads Front For HB210Z.677 65.00 ouch !!

So now I am replacing the D-35 with the 8.25 rear end . Picked up a set of Old Man Emu Rear Leaf Spring CS033RA their a Medium Load spring with a good ride . I am also installing a set of JKS JKSOGS651 HD SHACKLES which will add to the lift , so I took out the third from the top leaf to lower it a little and even it out a bit . And also installing rear disk brakes from a 98 grand Cherokee I rebuilt the calipers and added longer studs , and rustys shocks all the way around , I will up grade the shocks after I test for flex .
