Went out this morning with my89xj, Pudgy Fingers, and a_shirey. Unfortunately, a_shirey had to leave without playing cause his friend is diabetic and forgot his insulin. We had a lot of fun, though. I lost my 4WD at the very beginning cause I went into a hole that swallows JKs on 35s. my89xj is a bad influence
Trail head. You've probably seen it before if you've seen my other trail pictures on here.

Pudgy sank pretty deep in that hole, lifted ~3" on 32s.

Here's me pulling him out.

He got a little dirty.

...But he conquered concrete. Total mall crawler

My exhaust was mutilated after they pulled me out of the pit. It was wrapped around the axle and pointing straight up at the bed, in front of the rear wheels.

We used this tow strap (found on the trail) and this screwdriver to try to yank out the exhaust, but we ended up pulling the MJ sideways. Craftsman will continue to get my business.

At the end of one of the trails, we lined up on a bar. All was well until we decided to leave, and I was misfiring like crazy and stalling at idle.

Well luckily my89xj is a good sport. We hooked up my plow mount to his receiver with a ****** strap, and he pulled me through the trail. Just minor damage

Back at home. By the time we got to the trail head, whatever sensor was wet had dried. I drove it home without any problems, but my 4WD still isn't working. I, however, do have to work the next three days, so that problem can wait.

Exhaust? Sure, I have one.

"I think I'll be a clown when I get grown," said Dill. "Yes, sir, a clown.... There ain't one thing in this world I can do about folks except laugh, so I'm gonna join the circus and laugh my head off."
"You got it backwards, Dill," said Jem. "Clowns are sad, it's folks that laugh at them."
"Well, I'm gonna be a new kind of clown. I'm gonna stand in the middle of the ring and laugh at the folks."

Looked like a sick trip. I think you've damaged something so far on a few trips. Keeps you busy. Does your friend my89xj have a cowl intake?

As far as my casualties go, this is the second time I've lost my exhaust there. This time it isn't going back on cause it's crimped shut in two places. I'm gonna replace it with a four-piece system this time, using clamps instead of welds. I'll have a new mandrel bent downpipe made, connecting to a straight pipe, connecting to an S pipe turning up, connected to the glasspack, connecting to a turndown. This way if a component gets damaged, I can replace it cheaply. Since the straight pipe will probably take the most hits, it should all be simpler. I also lost my license plate today, so my front is on the rear. Lost my 4WD, cause is to be determined, and I broke my ratchet straps. Oh, and that plow mount is on its way out. I don't think I can bend that back unless my Jeep decides to hug a boulder at speed.
EDIT: Forgot about the cat. Of course I'll have a cat. It would be wrong not to.

Well at least You can get a 6 pack and gets to wrenching. Does the tC shift over at all. And did you have the np231 on that one? And also is the TC breather in tact still. Just some things to look into. Good luck with it

Linkage looks good. Shifter moves, but the Part Time light stays on even though I'm stuck in 2WD. I have a vacuum disconnect D30, and when I got home, I found the vac and the electrical plugs were all hanging loose. Plugging them back in didn't fix it, but I didn't check to see if the vac line is clogged. i'll work on it more next week when I have time off.
