Yeah it works now... looks just like the one that i have. I bent it up a little bit where the tube begins after the flat mounting part so that i could see a little better and i haven't really figured out what to do about how much it shakes lol

I bent mine at the mounting point, too. It's at about an 80° angle, and I turn it sideways so it touches the body. I haven't driven with it on yet, but it didn't vibrate when I was idling/revving. I torqued it down, though.

I tightened mine a pretty good bit and i think that the vibrating its doing is from the wind and not the body because just idling it shakes a little bit but around town it wiggles and then doing 65 is wiggles a lot lol

I used channel locks to bend the base of mine, and I also bent the sides down around the mounting hole so it wraps around the hinge. That may help. Might also try a rubber washer to isolate movement. I only bought mine to stay legal; I don't plan to use it.. so I don't care if it vibrates

I'm gonna dredge up some oldness in your thread here man...
Was talking with my wife about the hopefully upcoming donor jeep purchase for my 4wd conversion - she said "what vehicle are you gonna drive around while your jeep is out of commission."

So I started thinking about it and then a couple of weeks later, wife said,"saw a camaro on the side of the road for sale alot like that old one you used to have."
Bingo.
So with that in mind, what's the flush-mounting plate you speak of and do you have any links for the LED tails and the wonderbar?
Haven't posted in a few weeks, but I went home and got the Camaro. The shakedown run in the car was the drive from Cleveland to Frederick (400 miles overnight). No major problems, but I'm still working out the little issues before I start buying 'wants' again. I put a Kenwood KDC-X896 eXcelon head unit and new Pioneer 6x9s in the Camaro while I was home because it didn't have a radio in it, and I wasn't gonna drive 8 hours without one. Unfortunately, I got accustomed to the HD Radio, CD player, and Bluetooth in the car, so I just shifted priorities and ordered a Kenwood KDC-BT652U head unit for the Jeep. You can see I like Kenwood decks, since I also had one in my first Camaro and in my XJ.
Next up after that, I want to get my budget boost on the Jeep and get the doors off it. Then I'll replace the speakers with some cheap stuff since my door speakers don't work, and my rears are blown.
For the Camaro, I just ordered a flush-mounting plate from HU Mount, and my priorities are a new windshield, a Wonderbar, and those Digitails LED taillights.

Wonderbars can be bought from many companies. If you get an IROC-Z, it should come with one. The lower trim levels and the '91/92 Z28s after the IROC contract expired did not include them from factory, so I'll be buying one from Spohn. Spohn Wonderbar.
And at some point, you're gonna want subframe connectors. They act the same as our frame stiffeners, and it will stop a lot of the squeaks in the car, stop body panels from cracking from torsion, and make the car tighter. Again, many companies make them. I'll be buying from Spohn again when I get these. Spohn SFCs for non-convertibles.

Did a coolant flush today with Green2000. Coolant was dark brown. Stupid little things made it take way longer than it should have, but all in all it was simple. The 30 minute drive home went smoothly, so we'll see how it holds up in the sun tomorrow. Also did a partial brake fluid swap cause the MJ's fluid looked as bad as the Camaro's. Now I've been up 22 hours...did a 3 mile run after I woke up, and I spent the last 7 hours Jeeping. Definitely time for bed!
