yeah, im not sure its the right way to fix it, but ive put a bit of baby powder on the belt before and it quieted it down. i think they make something called 'belt dressing' which is the 'proper' way to fix the squeal though.
I HATE WASPS! I'm severely allergic. I got stung in the arm while doing yard work for a friend and managed to hold off the reaction long enough to get home. By the rime I got home I was having a lot of trouble breathing.
I'm doing better now but my arm still hurts

When I sold the 96 I told them that the wasps where free, as I couldn't find all their nests of evil.
Well my arm still hurts... when the swelling went down I noticed that I had been stung twice.

I thought about geting a ZJ shift lever for mine, but dang, the guy wants 25 dollars for one and they are all dry rotted or moldy and gross!
Heep an eye open for XJ part-outs around you on Craigslist and facebook groups. I get informed of one about once a week or so. you should be able to snag one cheap like that.

Fell ****! I was washing Storme and went to get something out of the cab..... and I have water dripping from under the dash on the drivers side into a pool in the drivers side floor pan.

My first XJ did this. I think it was leaking from the top of the windshield, so I put black electrical tape over that seam and it didn't leak anymore. I just had to change the tape about every four months or so.
Pour water on the roof above the driver's door. Pay attention inside and see when it starts leaking. It might be leaking from the roof and running down the A pillar under the trim, or it might be coming in from the door, ect.
Leaks suck!
Well I think I may have found a possible cause of the water leaking on to the drivers floor pan.
Yesterday at a weekly local Jeep Meet I added in a new set of LED's to my front bumper. They are pure white and bright as hell. I like them because I can set them to strobe in multiple patterns or set them to solid/not strobing.
I'm also mounting a flush mount LED light bar in my rear bumper and rewiring my drivers door speaker on Sunday at a wrenching party.

Bent the control arms, LCA mounts, drivers floor pan, drivers fender is toast, grill and bezel are shot, and bumper is shot.
