Well looking for a donor has been a bit of a pain in the butt. I had a '91 with only 86K on it lined up. But the guys wife sold it before he got home from work.

BUTT, this might get a V8 after all. I have a lead on a '93 ZJ with a V8. bad body good drive line. Might go this wrought.

Seeing as I need ALL the wiring and drive line...

Nick, have you thought of finding a donor out of the salt belt?

If I was putting all that torque under the hood I would want everything as intact as possible.

Well "Tiny" was from Tenn. So I have a good base on that. The Donor is for motor/trans/t-case and wiring...

why not just repair the section of unibody that is messed up, then add some frame stiffeners over it to add strength and prevent it from happening again?

Be cause I can see the flex not the crack.

It's where the frame rail meets the firewall..

I've also found out that my '89 has been in at least 2 wrecks before I got it. The drivers side core support and bumper mounts are screwed and so is the drivers rear corner..

Found a deal through a friend on a '95 as a donor. It also has a 4.5" lift so a bit more height might also happen and it has a 231 with a SYE on it..

I should know and or have it all worked out later this week..

I'd like to see a 5.2L XJ..
