Project "Tiny"
And to then weld up a full roll cage and have what equates to a buggy? I don't think so. the estimated Fab time to put a legitimate frame under an XJ is 40+ hours by someone experienced in Fab work. Nick knows what he's doing more than either you or I.

Well you all make good points..
But I know what the plan is and can see the build in my head.
I guess you'll all just have to wait and see what and why I am doing the build the way i am..

So get this thing done already... You know we're all on the edge of our seat starring at the computer in anticipation.

If I have to I will place 10 drywall heaters in your front lawn to melt the snow so this project gets underway. Also, I vote 1/4 mile testing and video is mandatory for this build thread.

Nope it's only a round 700lbs. I called many dealers and engine builders to inquire about the weight. So it's not as heavy as most would think..

But soon very soon...

*Update*
Good news and bad news.
"Tiny" will be getting started with in a few days.
BUTT
Not as a monster. it will be getting built as a replacement for "Silver Dollar". I found that "Silver Dollar" is twisting in a area it shouldn't do to the uni-body is starting to crack. Pass-frame rail near the firewall.
So between, all my lift and axles on "SD" and another XJ as a donor. "Tiny" will evolve into a Weekend wheeler/DD for now..
