It's an Afco 19"x22" radiator. With the puller fan, I'm hoping it'll be enough. The problem you run into is the available space between the frame horns because of the gear box. You can buy an off the shelf radiator for the swap, but it'll run you over $600. You can swap over to a WJ gear box, which will open up more available space, but not what I wanted to do. So I measured and this was the biggest dude I could fit into there.

Never planned on keeping it, just keeps the mice out for now. I seem to have a lot of them floating around the property.

Good thinking!

I'll be beefing up the front after I get things in place. I'm hoping with a little more trimming I can go back to the LWP and the serp belt setup.

Thanks for the input and comment guys! Hopefully I'll have more updates coming.

I haven't forgotten about this project. In fact, it's getting pushed to the front burner in hopes I can get it finished for the Mopar Happening at the end of July. Pulling the current motor and dropping in the 350 I talked about on page 1. Also got some new ideas for mounting the radiator after looking at some 5.2L swap threads. So start expecting more updates soon and often. We got one month to make this happen, let the countdown begin.

It's on the back burner for now. I'll probably tinker on it over the winter. For now, she's stuck in the back of my outbuilding with my truck camper blocking her in.

Probably not the kind of update a lot of you were hoping for, but one nonetheless. I picked up a 97-01 front clip on Saturday and we installed it tonight. I think it looks pretty dang good.

Like I said in my previous post, there should be more updates as I tinker on it over the winter.

Thread Necromancy! Pulling this one back to the top. I'm looking to drop a SBC into a Comanche. Any word on how this one turned out? Any good build threads for dropping a SBC in an MJ?
